Having a license is used to be able to upload your song to the internet (Instagram, YouTube, Spotify… wherever you need to upload it). The license is a contract that gives you permission to use the instrumental to upload your song to any online platform.
When you read in a license the number of streams, copies, Youtube Monetization, Radio & TV Broadcasting etc. These are the permissions you have with that license. The better the license, the fewer limits and more permissions you will have. Clicking Here you can read what each license offers.
Yes, always respecting the limits and permissions of the purchased license.
Have the Track Out | Stems (the instrumental tracks) are ideal for mixing and recording in a studio. Not only can you edit the structure to suit your song however you want, but it’s also the best choice when you’re mixing and want to get a really professional sound.
Here you can see all the advantages explained in detail: Advantages of having the tracks separate from a beat..
Today it is very easy to record the audio that sounds on a website, so to avoid improper copies, voices have been inserted throughout the Beat. By purchasing a license, the files you will get will not contain those voices.
What do you mean when you say “No Tag”? : It means that the rhythm will be delivered without the voice playing over the sample in the music player. I mean the ones that say “Gradozero Beats” or “Listen to This” or “Purchase your tracks today”
They are not really free beats, they are DEMO versions, that is, a demo so you can download and write at home. In order to use the beat and upload your song online you will need to purchase a license.
Check our Free Beats Policy HERE.
I also invite you to click HERE to understand everything about the use of Free Beats.

As long as you’ve purchased a license for a beat, you’re allowed to make changes to the beat’s length, mix, sounds, etc. This excludes tagged beats/free demo downloads.
Once you buy a beat, everything you generate on digital platforms (Spotify, Apple Music…) and on other online sites like YouTube, Twitch, Tiktok… will be 100% for you.
If you monetize on YouTube and have a license that allows it, 100% of what you monetize will be for you.
In the case of an Unlimited License you have permission for paid performances (concerts) and 100% of what they pay you will be for you.
On the other hand, there are publication rights, such as physical sales, appearances on radio or TV… which are those generated on platforms such as SGAE, ASCAP, BMI, etc. Of these rights, only if you have the Unlimited or Exclusive license (with the Standard or Premium license the song cannot be registered on these platforms) you will get 50% of what is generated with the song (you will have to register it in a PRO and add me as producer to 50%).
Do you want to earn money with your YouTube video? : Then you need the “Premium”, “Unlimited” or “Exclusive” License. The Standard license does not allow monetization. To avoid the use of the instrumentals on Youtube without their corresponding license, all the rhythms are in a “Content ID” manager.
What YouTube’s “Content ID” does is scan YouTube videos for audio material produced by Gradozero and automatically submits a copyright claim, which temporarily blocks monetization of your videos. This claim is just a notification and it will NOT harm your channel or video, nor will it force you to remove the videos, it just disables the monetization option temporarily. Your video will continue to play without any other limitations.
This is the exact message you may receive: Due to a copyright claim, the following YouTube video is no longer monetizing. It is still playable on YouTube, but the copyright owner could choose to display ads on it. Therefore, you may receive a copyright claim on YouTube videos, even if you own a “Premium”, “Unlimited” or “Exclusive” license. So, follow these instructions:
IMPORTANT! If you have a “Premium”, “Unlimited” or “Exclusive” license, please fill out the copyright claim removal form copyright claim removal form. Once the form is received, we will contact you with instructions to withdraw this claim and restore monetization of your video within the next 24 hours.
Using this “Content ID” program is the only way we can make sure that only people with a proper license are legitimately and legally monetizing their videos on YouTube.
Yes. By purchasing a license, you can earn money on Spotify (and other digital platforms) with the playbacks generated by your song (always respecting the limits of the license purchased).
CONTENT ID: IT IS ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED TO REGISTER THE BEAT AND/OR THE NEW SONG WITH ANY CONTENT IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM, SERVICE PROVIDER, MUSIC DISTRIBUTOR, RECORD LABEL OR DIGITAL AGGREGATOR (for example: TuneCore, CDBaby or any other service provider user-generated content ID). The purpose of this condition is to prevent you from receiving copyright claims from third parties who also purchased a non-exclusive license to create a new song with the beat. The Beat has already been tagged in a content manager by the producer as a preventative measure to protect all parties interested in the new song.
SGAE | ASCAP | BMI: If you have a Standard or Premium license, you will not be able to register your song in a PRO. If you have an Unlimited or Exclusive license (or Exclusive beat) you can register your song and you must do so by adding 50% Gradozero to the registration (you will find the necessary data in the license agreement).
Yes, if you own a non-exclusive license, you can upgrade your license to any higher license type if the exclusive rights are still available and have not been sold yet. If the exclusive rights have already been sold and are no longer available, you will no longer be able to upgrade your license so be quick before you miss out on the opportunity. You can access the Update form by clicking on this link: UPGRADE LICENSE. We will credit the amount you have already paid and deduct it from the price of the desired license.
No. All sales of digital downloadable products are final and we cannot offer a refund for something we cannot get back.
When you buy a beat, the license comes in your name, so you’re the only person who can use that license (it’s okay if someone else sings with you on your song). What you can’t do is pass the beat to other people because those people, not having a license in their name, won’t be able to use the beat.
No. You may not resell the beats or transfer their license rights to a third party.
Appropriate credit is given as follows in written form: ‘ft. Gradozero’, ‘Beat by Gradozero’ or ‘Prod. Gradozero’. It is very important to mention the producer on all platforms (Youtube, Spotify, iTunes, Instagram, etc) when you upload your song. It is established by contract and non-compliance will give rise to an economic sanction.
Yes. Go to this page for all the details about this service: Custom Beats
Yes, in the following link you have all the details and prices: Mix & Mastering Service
Yes. All the Beats you see in this store are available.
No. The beats come to you unmastered so that you can correctly record your voices on top and mix them professionally.
The main difference between a leasing (non-exclusive) license and an exclusive license is that the leasing license can continue to be sold to more people and the exclusive license can only be sold to one person (the license, not the beat). It is important to clarify that it is not an exclusive beat, but rather an exclusive license, this means that the beat may have been previously sold with leasing licenses before its exclusive license was sold.
I explain everything about licenses in this post: GUIDE TO KNOW BEAT LICENSES
Can I continue to use the beats I’ve leased after the exclusive rights have been sold? Yes. The sale of exclusive rights does not affect previously sold licenses.
I have bought the exclusive rights. Can you rent the beat again? Has it been leased before? Once a beat is sold exclusively, we are no longer allowed to sell a license to that beat. On the other hand, a beat may have been leased to multiple people before it was sold exclusively.
It is not necessary to register on the web to be able to listen or buy beats (in fact, you cannot). When you make your first purchase, a user profile is automatically created for you so you always have access to your beats and licenses.
A beat is not made exclusively for rapping over it. Apart from rapping you can sing. You can use it as the background of a video on Youtube. Use it in the background in a Twitch stream. You can use it for the soundtrack of your short film or movie. You can use it to improvise, to dance… The list can be endless.
If it’s your first time, I’ll tell you:
In order to make a song, the first thing you need is a beat (a beat is a musical instrumental) that inspires you to write lyrics. When you find one you like, buy a license so you can have rights to use it.
Once you have your beat and license, the next step is to record and mix your song.
Finally, when you have your song recorded and mastered, it’s time to upload it to all platforms.
If you listened to one of my beats on platforms like Youtube and you can’t find it in the store, it’s most likely because its exclusive license has already been sold (when that happens, it’s usually indicated in the video itself). Likewise, you can always write to ask me just in case.
To produce, record and mix I use Ableton Live.
